What is Making Tax Digital?
Making Tax Digital (MTD) is the largest change in VAT reporting for a generation. From April 1st 2019 all businesses registered for VAT with a turnover greater than the £85,000 (the VAT threshold) will have to submit VAT returns digitally and quarterly. HMRC believe that this will make the UK tax system the most efficient and effective in the world.
